Wafer Line Equipment
A wafer line is a chain of stages, and we build the stations either side of the oven — not the oven itself. From our Casablanca catalog we supply cream preparation, fat and cream storage, cooling for filled or coated wafers, downstream handling, and chocolate coating built to order. We fit these into an existing wafer operation, or design custom-built machinery around your product.
This is the honest version of a wafer line. We do not manufacture the wafer-sheet baking oven or the book-cutting machine, and we will tell you that before you ask. What we do supply are the stations where cream, fat, cooling, and coating decide the quality of the finished wafer — and those are the stations most producers scaling up need to add or replace.
Everything is stainless steel, food-contact construction, built in Casablanca. Component brands carry the quality argument: Siemens PLCs and servomotors, Schneider electrical, Festo pneumatics, FAG bearings. A capacity figure sits under each station, and an engineer can skip the prose and read the plate.

What sets the throughput
Capacity on a wafer line is set station by station, not by a single headline number. Cream preparation runs on the Pre-Mixer M-1200, which produces a homogeneous batch of 1,000 kg per 15 min with temperature and time programs on a 7-inch touchscreen. Fat melting is handled by the Fat Melting Tank M-1000 at 1,000 kg per 30 min, with stock and cream held in the Chocolate Stock Tank M-2000 at 2,000 kg — and storage tanks are buildable from 50 kg to 100 tonnes to match your batch sizes.
Cooling and handling scale to line output. The Cooling Tunnel M-590 delivers 5,000-9,000 kcal/h and is configured in length to your throughput, setting cream-filled or chocolate-coated wafers as they pass. The Feeding/Alignment Conveyor M-100 moves 1,000 pcs/min from the oven or tunnel exit toward cutting or packaging. Where you want a chocolate-coated wafer, enrobing and the chocolate pumps that feed it are engineered to order and sized to your product on quotation.
Who this is for
Built for
- Wafer producers adding cream preparation, fat and cream storage, or cooling capacity
- Producers scaling manual cream mixing up to a programmed 1,000 kg per 15 min batch
- Wafer makers adding a chocolate-coating step (enrobing plus pumps, built to order)
- Operations needing downstream handling from the oven or tunnel exit toward packaging
- Buyers who want custom-built machinery around a specific wafer product
Straight answer
What we do not supply for a wafer line
We do not manufacture the wafer-sheet baking oven, the creaming or spreading machine, or the book-cutting machine that portions baked sheets — those stages are outside our current catalog. What we supply is the cream-preparation station (Pre-Mixer M-1200), fat and cream storage (M-1000, M-2000, and tanks from 50 kg to 100 tonnes), cooling (Cooling Tunnel M-590), downstream handling (Conveyor M-100), chocolate coating built to order, and custom-built machinery. If your gap is the oven or the cutting stage, we will say so and point you to the right supplier rather than sell you a machine we do not make.
